FREQUENTLY QUESTIONS ABOUT FOOTBALL KINETICS

The footballer of the future needs a high quality of movement, excellent technique and at the same time a cool and quick head.

Why?

Quantum leaps in ball contact time: At the 2006 World Cup, the average ball contact time was 2.9 seconds; at the 2014 World Cup, it was only 0.9 seconds
Space and time are becoming scarce: In addition, there is a significantly increased speed of play coupled with more aggressive opponent pressure
National coach Joachim Löw says in this context:

“In the next few years, players with great cognitive abilities will be in demand. Who is flexible, who finds solutions in a wide variety of situations? I feel like the players are physically at their limit. The limit has almost been reached. But the game is getting tighter, the rooms are getting smaller and the time pressure is getting bigger. And in all of this, a player must have quick and, above all, good solutions ready. Football still has potential in this area.”

These tendencies are also clearly visible at amateur level and the speed of the game and thus the number of decisions are increasing extremely.

How are you currently coping with these requirements?

Footballkinetics Training combines techniques such as passing, dribbling and scoring with cognitive, coordination and visual challenges.

This means that all the requirements that a modern footballer should have are trained intensively and extensively.

The aim of footballkinetics is to improve the quality, speed and execution of movements and actions that the player has to deliver in the game.

To achieve this, two crucial “muscles” are effectively integrated into training:

The eyes: What good is good fitness if you constantly misunderstand the game situation? Should I pass the ball directly or dribble it myself? How many opponents are around me right now?
The brain: The brain controls the body, not the other way around. Every movement in a football game must first be thought of in the mind. All logical, right?
Both building blocks can also be found in the footballkinetics formula we developed.

The footballkinetics formula represents the foundation for all exercises. Every basic exercise can be expanded using our successful formula.

The following training principles apply:

“The exercise should always be designed to be so complex that it even consciously overwhelms you. This makes it all the easier in the game.”

A cool side effect of our training approach is that a high level of coordination, a functioning visual system and a fast brain are not only beneficial in football. Rather, this also results in positive effects on everyday life, school or work.

Footballkinetics offers these six advantages:

Improvement of motor skills for finer ball handling and more delicate passing
Improving technical skills for even more precise crosses and shots on goal
Increased speed of action in order to be two steps ahead of the opponent in the future
Increased balance in duels through improved coordination skills
Increasing awareness for a professional-level overview
Avoiding compensatory movements for more power in the crucial sprints
Footballkinetics is aimed at all coaches, players and their parents who want to fully exploit their potential. Anyone who plays football intelligently will play more successfully and therefore have more fun. We test the latest training equipment and give you tips on whether and how you can incorporate it into your training. This way you are always one step ahead of others.

Rehearse the same movements and sequences over and over again. Many footballers train this way, including in the Bundesliga. According to scientific findings, our body learns much more through deviations.

The new, variable part of a movement is primarily responsible for learning progress. Children learn so quickly and so much because they have new parts in every activity. It is not constant repetition that increases performance, but rather conscious deviations and excessive demands.

Anyone who only ever travels on country roads may soon feel safe – but they will despair if they suddenly have to drive in Rome, Madrid or London. Footballkinetics starts right here and offers you football training with cognitive, coordination and visual elements. It is obvious that in football all movement and learning processes are controlled by the brain. That’s why it makes sense for footballers to integrate the brain even more into training in order to be able to make faster and greater tactical, coordination and technical progress.

However, these findings have so far received little attention in football! Exceptions here are football coaches such as Thomas Tuchel, Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp.

Football kinetics is based on current sports and neuroscientific findings. In this context, the differential learning approach, dual-task training, the brain gym concept and neuroathletics training should be mentioned.

All approaches and other insights have been incorporated into the Football kinetics exercises. This ultimately led to the development of our own training approach. At Football kinetics, players complete tasks in training that expand their existing movement repertoire. Movements are no longer repeated over and over again. Fluctuations and additional challenges are even specifically incorporated. The background is that in football there are constantly changing requirements in terms of space, opponent and time pressure. There are also external circumstances, such as the weather or space conditions, which have an incalculable influence on the technical process.

Only by combining classic technical exercises with complex fluctuations do practical learning gains arise. This means you can achieve great training effects – no matter what age you are. Football kinetics’ credo is always: “Training has to be so complex so that the game is recovery.” Footballers of all ages and abilities benefit enormously from this innovative approach.
